Rome Night Tour

31 agosto 2010 admin Nessun commento

Visiting Rome by night is a sensational experience that every tourist love to have. The night-lit monuments appear even more magnificent than by the day and gives the Eternal city a magical, romantic look.

We have thought of an ideal Rome night tour to show our guests some of the greatest monuments, palaces, and squares in Rome during the night.
Our Rome night tour starts in Via Veneto, one of the most luxurious streets of the city, and goes on towards Palazzo Barberini, which houses the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Antica. Then we will drive you down Via delle Quattro Fontane, so called for the four fountains at the corner of the main crossroad, that represent the Tiber river, the Arno river, the Goddess Juno and the Goddess Diana. We will stop at Trevi Fountain, masterpiece by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, as well as the most popular fountain in Rome.

Then the Rome night tour will proceed to reach the very icon of Rome: the Colosseum. You never get tired of admiring it, at any hour of the day or the night.
We will move to the Tiber island, the only island in the Tiber river, that during summer nights usually gets very crowded, and finally you will be taken to the stunning Castel Sant’Angelo, formerly a mausoleum, a fortress, a castle and nowadays a museum.
